Bare and Bloom is a small botanical skincare studio based in Cambridge, UK. We create handmade natural soap and plant-based skincare using carefully chosen botanical oils, extracts and essential oils, produced in small batches throughout the year.

The brand grew from a personal need to care for reactive, sensitive skin using simple, balanced formulations. What began as a personal exploration into botanical ingredients gradually developed into a deeper commitment to formulation and skin health.

Today, Bare and Bloom offers a focused range of soap, skincare and candles made with intention and care. Each product reflects a belief that effective skincare does not need to be complicated, just thoughtful, well-formulated and grounded in nature.

Our Philosophy

We believe skincare should be simple, intentional and rooted in well-chosen ingredients. Each formula is developed with balance in mind, using plant oils, butters, clays and essential oils selected for how they work within the finished product.Rather than following trends, we focus on thoughtful formulation and ingredient integrity. Our products are free from synthetic fragrance, artificial colourants and harsh surfactants.Skincare should feel steady and reliable, something you can use every day with confidence, knowing it has been carefully made and properly considered.

Our Ingredients

We source high-quality botanical ingredients from trusted suppliers, prioritising responsible and UK-based sourcing where possible. Each oil, butter, extract and essential oil is selected for its function within the formula and its compatibility with healthy skin.

Our products are free from synthetic fragrance, artificial colours, SLS, parabens, PEGs and mineral oils. Instead, we rely on plant oils, mineral-rich clays and carefully balanced essential oils to create simple, effective formulations.

We choose ingredients carefully and formulate with intention, keeping our approach simple and considered.

Our Products Keep On Giving

At Bare and Bloom we believe in not only taking care of your skin, but also the planet.

That's why, as an eco-friendly and zero-waste brand, we use handmade paper embedded with seeds for our candle dust covers, soap labels, hang tags, and thank you cards.

This beautiful paper is made from recycled pulp cotton and embedded with over 20 different varieties of UK native wildflower seeds.

When you are ready to plant, simply soak the paper in water, transfer it to a pot with compost, and keep it in natural light. With proper care, your seeds will sprout in a few days or weeks.
